I like to help people whenever I can. It really makes me feel like I actually have contributed something to society.

I can't help how others may think of me, so I try not to think about it. But helping people is what makes me happy, and I try my best to do this regardless of who they are and what they might have done.

Certainly. For most people this allows them to think more positively about themselves and of what they have to offer the world.

When you help someone out,you make the world a better place.I firmly believe that what you do "comes back" to you.Also,helping someone less fortunate allows you to see how lucky you really are-puts things in perspective.

If you have the means to do it, this is an all around positive.

Another biggie. Helping someone just because you can is often rewarding. Of course you have to be careful of those who will take advantage of this quality and hopefully know the difference.
