I think this is more of an individual thing. You can read these self-help books until your blue in the face, if your not happy or willing to make yourself happy your wasting your money and time as this is something you have to find out for yourself.

I read some of these every once in awhile. They are nice, but really only temporary. They pretty much say what most of us know deep down. I do not read them as if they were some kind of bible. Sure they can be uplifting at times but I do not really go by them.

I've never been able to get through one of these. I don't know if this works for other people...if it does, great! Not even Dr. Phil needs to tell me that I'm entitled to my feelings, and that there is always room for improvement.

nah...these books for the most part like to preach. I think we as individuals need to figure out what works best for us.
