Seven Years War (Barry Lyndon) 4

This film has two battle scenes and the best is the first where there is a skirmish with the British making a frontal assault on the French with fixed bayonets to the tune of The British Grenadiers. This takes place during the Seven Years War, 1756-1763. Barry serves in both the British and Prussian Armies. The second battle scene has Barry defending a house in the Battle of Altdorf while he is in the Prussian Army. The sound track, during the battle, is the martial tune Der Hohenfriedberger, allegedly composed by Frederick the Great.
