Is the world a better or worse place now that Saddam is out of power? I'd say it's better now, even if they haven't found any WMDs. The country is the size of freakin California, and if you wanted to, you could hide something very well.

Despicable policy, pointless war. Murder for profit?

In the first place, the War in Iraq should never have taken place. Sure Saddam was a tyrant that often tortured his own people. But it was not our business. No one asked us to interveen. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. As for the weapons of mass destruction...? If they are outlawed, why are we using them on the Iraqie people? Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. When enough people wake up to what is going on right under their very noses, then maybe we'll have a chance to get our government back. We, the People, want Bush out of office. We want our government back in the hands of the people. I say fire then all and elect new leaders who have the welfare of the population in mind. We are now the most hated Nation in the world. Why do you think that is? Because Bush wants to rule the world and its oil. Concidering his family got rich in oil it doesn't take much imagination to see why we invaded Iraq. Take down a petty tyrant and slurp up all the oil under the guise of helping the survivors. Forget that, there won't be any survivors. I say GET MAD! GET VERY MAD. At the very least it might wake you up.

(OM)Grammar lessons and spell check would do nicely. The Iraqi people have held elections and will soon have a Constitution.I do feel it is time to begin pullouts.

I am totally against the war, but to contend it is pointless is logically incredible.

It's a way for the bush family to make even more money. Killing more innocent Iraqis than saddam

Liberals demand to be considered patriotic Americans. They say they support the troops and they just want to bring them home. Then of course they turn around and spew this crap as if they were a rabies ridden dog. It's fine if you don't support the war- it is, after all, your right. But how do you think it impacts the soldiers when they hear fellow Americans saying they are risking their lives for a pointless cause? Then again, I doubt someone who views President Bush (a man three out of every four soldiers support) worse than Adolf Hitler invests much time into thinking out his or her position before they bite the hand that feeds them.

The problem I have with this listing is that it suffers from the 'thesis of gargantuan proportions'- the middle east is too big a brush stroke. . .troops in Afghanistan makes complete sense. Dubya's administration seems disturbingly hands-off with Saudi Arabia (a place with real ties with terrorism). The Iraq War is a complete fraud no matter how many flags or yellow-magnets people put on their cars or how loud they shout about how 'dangerous' and 'unpatriotic' those who question. . .Hey folks, the angrier you get the less sense you make.

Its hard to argue with this kind of mindless dribble. So I wont. I strongly disagree.

There is nothing pointless about removing a dictator w/ genocidal tendencies from power. Further, military action/presence in Iraq is the first step to cleaning up the Middle East which has been a human rights abusing sewer for decades. One foot in Afghanistan, the other in Iraq, Israeli military in the corner and voila: New Reality for free speech censoring, women oppressing, religious fanatics who provide little more than misery and poverty-like conditions to their own people. The presence of the American military right next to all that oil is a nice bonus on top of it. Of course if you want a different way of spending federal tax money (rather than something Constitutional like providing for the national defense) we can always go back to Bill Clinton's National Dialogue on Race.

You don't even want to get me started here. Not when my friends are fighting that war.
