 | XAgent (28) 04/10/2008 | I didn't find the show all that funny and even after I figured out the whole premise of the show I wasn't all that impressed.

 | sfalconer (21) 11/03/2005 | Hyacynth Bucket, pronounced bouquet, is all about keeping ahead of the Jones's Smith's Brown's and any one else she comes in contact. Her main foils are her long suffering husband Richard and her two neighbours. She comes off like she is from nice conservative family but they actually very nice working class folk who seem to go out of there way to show up at the worst time for Hyacynth. The show is funny if not a little predictable but the characters are great and the writting makes for a good half hour of fun.

 | kamylienne (77) 07/23/2004 | Of all the Brit. Comedy shows I watch on occasion, this one sticks out. Hyacynth acts a LOT like my mom (well, a British version of her, at least). Everyone knows a woman who acts like more than she is that people just let get away with things, and Keeping Up With Appearances makes fun of all that.
