Fans 5

The sole reason I subscribed to Graphicsmash, although I'm thankful that I had a reason to. Fans is a type of rallying call to 'fans' of all sorts. The idea that a group of sci-fi fans could save the world isn't entirely new (I think...) but this rendition of it certainly is. You cry when they cry, you laugh when they laugh, and you certainly cringe when they do. T. Campbell creates characters that gives you a chance to think What would I do in that situation? Often enough, his characters manage to do the right thing...but in a move that only the great writers will attempt, sometimes they do the wrong thing, and still get away with it. Fanboy's betrayal still hits me hard, but it speaks volumes of the importance of the realization that our heroes are all too often people too.
