We have communicated and tboneya has an enquiring and open mind. Even if he doesn't agree with you he at least will listen to the argument and assess it. I would like to meet him for dinner, sure.

Sure thing, a very salt of the earth Gentleman. I think I would feel at ease in his home or mine. I'd bring the kids and let them go crazy.

We have exchanged suggestions, and he sounds interesting. I would look forward to it.

Would very much enjoy meeting tboneya. Very open minded individual, kindhearted, extremely intelligent and seems to have good taste in food. EDIT: LOL randyman I was about to say the same thing about the groundhog!

In one of his post a while back, Tboneya mentioned that he liked all the same stuff that I like; pigs feet, ham hocks and all the innards that most people find digusting. I think all we would need is a large table, two chairs and some cold beer. We'll just gnaw away and talk later. But if his mother shows up with some Polk, I'm leaving.

I'd have to agree with tboneya that he and I seem to have an awful lot in common (military service, service in Italy, and a love of history). Yep, I'm sure we would have an enjoyable meal together (and as he says, Italian, of course, but preferably back in Italy to boot!). It'd be great to relive old times, share stories, eat, tell more tall tales, eat some more (this is all so typically Italian for those of you who may never have experienced it), have some wine, tell more fantastic stories, then have after-dinner cheese, and maybe a shot of grappa - tboneya, when's the next flight to Italy?

He is one of the nicest people on RIA and truly deserves his high ranking and status. I would have dinner with him.

Absolutely, given that I can be certain he won't be serving that polk stuff, which sounds incredibly nasty. Not too sure about the groundhog and squirrel either, but the rest of the menu sounds appealing, and the conversation is bound to be great.
