Wonderful imaginative show with two solid characters that made it all seem so real. One of the best theme songs too.

One of the best series produced for television. Moulder and Scully are as real as they can get. Wonder if what is portrayed in the series is actually happening in real life. The story was utterly consistent, fascinating and original up until the climax in the hangar. I believe the producers ran out of imagination and originality after the episode. But overall, it's worth the "money".

The conspiracy stuff was so first rate, but the other filler stuff was flat goofy, sometimes. It jumped the shark when we saw the warehouse scene.   That was where the conspirators and their families were wiped out by the aliens who opposed the aliens trying to take over the earth as part of the conspiracy.  All in all though, it had originality with two likeable characters.

The first few seasons were at least 4 1/2 stars.After that,the quality wavered and dipped,but it was still better than most of the competition.

Most definetely, very original and unique, a ground breaking shows which has saved us from the mundane cop/doctor/lawyer fare.
