08/23/2005 | I'm hopelessly enamored with the underdog (in every aspect of living), and make no bones about it. I like seeing the little guy handing Massive Power and Influence a drubbing once in awhile, especially when it comes out of nowhere and silences the crowds. It's more often the result of heart in lieu of hay, which reaffirms the nobility of workaday endeavor and sparks the imagination towards inclusive glory. So hang in there, fans; the scant windfalls more than make up for the cacophony of jeers.
