I had to turn it off. It was just so one sided and biased, that I couldn't take anything about The Corporation seriously. I appreciate documentaries that at least try to lay out both sides of a debate - and this one made no effort at all. For those who haven't seen it, here let me summarize: Corporations are Evil, and maximizing shareholder value will always result in the little guy getting screwed.

Extremely one-sided/biased against corporate America (and America in general--surprise!). I wrote one of the executives who is prominantly featured throughout the documentary--Ray Anderson, CEO of Interface, Inc.--because of the apparent blind faith he placed in the documentary's premise that corporations are inherently villainous. His response: "I gave an interview on camera without knowing the overall context in which it would be used, and two years later received a copy of the finished film. I was very surprised to see myself in the role of exception-to-the-rule. ... I have taken the time to compose this reply, primarily because your negative reaction is , by far, the exception." I don't doubt it. After all, this documentary's message is heavily geared towards those whose mind is already made up. I gave it two stars for one reason alone: It's made me more hesitant about purchasing milk produced by rBGH-treated cows. The prospect of drinking puss-laden milk scared me into seeking out only the untreated variety.

Yet another sneek preview into the truth behind the evil axis of power held by a wealthy few and run by many (the corporations). A true documentary which looks into how the corporations are destroying the environment. deceiving the public, and not subject to laws. It shows how cows are injected with hormones and chickens sheltered in small containments and how they are processed with antibiotics in order to generate more milk and eggs. I mean how do you expect to only pay .99 cents for 12 eggs in the grocery store? Those chickens have been tortured! While hearing the facts is obviously not fun to do, it is educational and needed if you are to live a life in truth.

An interesting documentary; didactic and unconvincing in parts, but overall pretty accurate and educational. I was impressed by the choice of talking heads (I don't think I've ever seen a movie with Noam Chomsky AND Milton Freidman; they obviously went out of their way to get different points of view). The historical and economic 1st half was outstanding in its concise exposition of economic history and economic terms to a mainstream audience. I was less impressed with the more polemic 2nd half, though it still held my attention and made some good points. Most people interested in the subject would enjoy the The Corporation, even if they don't share the filmakers' views (roughly, left-wing Canadian).

Wow--this documentary is well-researched and enlightening. Only the extreme right would hate it, because it violates what they believe: The rich corporations should get away with anything and everything, at the costs of the environment, animals, consumers, stock holders, and society as a whole.
I will only drink soy milk or organic milk as a result of watching this. See this movie--and be prepared to get angry and demand changes.
One of the most telling things about this movie is how it dissects modern corporate behavior and compares its attributes to that of a psychopath.
Grim stuff---essential viewing!
