A few years ago I remember coming across a cute poem on this subject and have never found it since. (Google doesn't give you everything. The poem goes like this: If the plural of Goose is Geese, they why not the plural of moose Meese? If the plural of mouse is mice, then why not the plural of house Hice? There was much much more. It would be nice if we could dig it up.
