Attraction is an individual issue. I prefer to look for someone who is moral/good values, stable emotionally, flexible, and at least shares something I share. If I had to be with me all the time, it would drive me cracy. This attractiont thing is interesting. I am involved with a man who has some of my traits, and opposite, it makes it interesting, Boring people should not be written off, the exciting folks sometimes are drug abusers, or other emotional problems. Either way, I suggest, looking at your values, dont compromise them. A therapist.

I agree with this a lot, although it is not true always. People say that opposites attract but that is not true at all, well not all the time. That CNN study showed that more confident people are likely to be choosey in selecting their partner and tend to actually go for people who are like them. Yet people who are not confident tend to not be as choosey and will go out with almost anyone who shows them interest. Besides I have noticed in my own life that more strong, vivacious people go out with strong, vivacious people and often see the more reflective, thinker type as being boring. Sometimes opposites attract, but not all the time. People generally get attracted to similarities a lot of the time. When there are opposites, there tends to be arguments.
