This is not a site for the faint of heart or those in a hurry. There are pages and volumes of great, useful information on a wide spectrum of survival topics. You can't read it all in a week, maybe not even a month. Hotel Sierra!

this is 1 of three blogs I check when looking a preparedness info. I find that it focuses mainly on the information and not on other issues. Great information, it verfies many facts that I have discovered the hard way which makes it very credible.

The best thing about Survival Blog, is that you know that you can trust what is there. If Jim recommends something, you can count on it being well researched and well thought out.

Interesting read, not all guns and Rambo. Like a daily dose of Worst Case Scenario Handbook, with a dash of Mother Earth News.

One of the best if not the best survival sites out there. I agree with that statement without reservation. James knows what he is talking about, and if he doesn't, he will find someone who does. His site has been my homepage since it went active on 8/5/05, and I now look forward to powering up the computer in the morning more than ever. Way to go Mr. Rawles! Gung-Ho

This site is excellent and has been needed for a long time by serious Survivalists. Read and learn, and if you are experienced, contribute.

Amazing writing going on - lots of depth in a lot of areas you can't find anywhere else on the internet. We're getting the reasons behind the suggestions from someone who knows what's they're talking about.

This site is by the author of the best Survivalist fiction of all time, 'Patriots. Surviving the Coming Collapse' aka the freeware '000'(Triple Ought). This site should be the homepage addy of all serious survivalists.

The profiles are outstanding. Gives a survivalist much to think about. Jim is probably the most expert person in this area as evidenced by his very popular book Patriots. I check his site out first even before USA Today.

I enjoy it thoroughly! It is good to get differing viewpoints and to see that others and myself have done similar things with respect to being more self-sufficient. I hope this blog does not go away. South Jersey Boy

It's probably the best and most comprehensive clearing house for things that we should all gain knowledge of. Survival isn't about nuclear way, it's about sustainability in the face of any adversity without need for help outside of the community. It's balanced and your opinion is always given consideration there, unlike some others.

Oustanding Blog..recommend this site to any and all that are interested in suriving any calamity that comes down the pike. Jim Rawles is the one guy you would want as a neighbor when the 'schumer'hits the fan! A ton of helpful and productive ideas yet without all the hype..a site that will turn the most jaded into good, christian stewards towards ourselves, our families and communities.
