Black Eye 2

Black eyes don't bother me at all. They usually don't hurt, and they tend to keep people guessing. A couple of years ago, I started a new job in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Because I'm such a basketball junkie, one of the the first things I do when i move to a new place is to scout out the local run. Well I found a big time run in Fort Lauderdale. Right on Las Olas beach - i can't vouch for how good it is now, but it used to be really good. Anyway, the run was very, very physical, and very, very athletic. I remember having the bad luck to catch elbows in the face my first three weekends in FLA. This was fine, except showing up at the new job with a black eye the first week, a puffed up cheek the second, and the other eye black on the third week, was a little awkward. I think my coworkers thought I was in Fight Club of something (which i a way I was). But like I said, it keeps people guessing...
