Eat to the Beat (Blondie) 2

By this time, Blondie showed that it was running out of gas. The first album was truly excellent, and the second pretty damn good, but by the third go-around it was apparent that the ideas were getting thin and the energy was ebbing. She was an OK singer, but the strength of this act was the band. Chris Stein is a fine guitar player and excellent band leader. Jimmy Vestri rates on the keys and Clem Burke was perhaps the greatest drummer of the first punk rock/new wave era.

Eat to the Beat (Blondie) 5

Debbie is an angel with a voice from heaven - evolutionized women in rock forever. Tightest band. Profound lyrics...

Best New Wave Punk Album Ever!!! Biggest selling too! Wish Blondie would make more CDs like this one. Dreaming is probably the best Rock n Roll song ever written. Atomic!!!!!!!!!
