"The Midnight Rambler" by the Rolling Stones does indeed improve even when drinking slop such as Schlitz.

I don't know if you have to be intoxicated, but my absolute favourite night out is listening to a good band with a beer in my hand.  And its absolute magic if you discover something completely new. Outdoor music festivals are the best, but don't spend too much time in the beer garden.

If you get fairly intoxicated the music always seems too quiet. This can lead to problems with room mates, neighbors, and eventually the police! Just have a few, drink slowly, and resist the urge to crank it up. Better yet go to a club or bar and drink responsibly while enjoying a good live band.

Much richer and memorable when drunk.

Music always sounds better when your drunk. and funny enough I never can get it loud enough..if I use my head phones i always end up taking them off,and the whole apt ends up waking up mad..
