Depends on the person and personality. Some guys look better with medium length hair. If this haircut is cut correctly and perfectly -this is a difficult haircut to cut perfectly, since imperfections show easily. -It really can make a guy look totally hot. The same goes for completely shaved. Some guys look totally good, some look really lame.

It's defined by barbers as a Marine medium regulation fade. It's exceptionally masculine, and "butch". Most women would prefer another style on men they know, however, if fashion and groupthink were stripped away, it might be seen as primal and very sexy - a military, strong, man's man haircut (NPI). It is therefore dependent upon who's looking at the cut, and if they are brutally honest or sheepishly fashionable.

All rigth this haircut is good if it is part of a Flat Top haircut. Gotta have some style to it. Shaved sides and back go well with the Flat Top in my humble opinion.
