Just outside of Athens, Mount Parnitha is the talles of the Attica Mountain Range at 1400 meters, and extends over 300 square kilometers of land. It was the site for Olympic biking events in recent years. The ancient Greeks believed that Pan, the goat-footed god, came to Mount Parnitha to dance and play music.
