I saw this movie for the first time when I was 16 or 17, 20 something years after it came out. I can imagine it being terrifying back in 78 to the audience and to its credit it was very creepy and the music scores were terrific that played during the movie. It is a great movie to watch during the halloween season as it sets the mood perfectly.
