Clark Gable (Teacher's Pet) 4

There is no reason to not consider Gable's character as a newspaper editor in 'Teacher's Pet' to be less combative and mischievous than the journalist that he portrayed 24 years earlier in Frank Capra's 'It Happened One Night', despite the gray hairs on his temples. He seemed to embody the role, although with enough leisure time now to enroll in journalism classes in order to get acquainted with Doris Day.
