Good enough gift, a detailing is even better especially for older persons that may not be up to doing their own wash and polish. My younger sister details cars and she did one for my folks recently when they were away. They were thrilled that their car looked like new again.

It might be okay as a gift idea, but the person receiving it might get their feelings hurt, thinking that the implication is that their car is dirty.

Ok, well, I have a carwash, it is the hose connected to the side of my house, and I don't use it, So why would I use a commercial carwash at my house, especially if I don't use the one at the gas station. PLus it would be such an eyesore in my yard. :)

Unless it's a couple of gorgeous supermodels washing my car, I would find this to be insulting. I can get my car washed when it rains. That's all I need.

Seems a little dull, frankly. Unless you're sending over a swimsuit model to do the washing.

Yes I agree .. but its not quite valuable , and i'd consider it unique coz i guess its not a gift but however somethin different ..
