Depends. I'm not much of a fisherman, so the location of the trip is a big deal to me.

North woods, fighting off mosquitoes the size of crows? Pass.

Caribbean, the Gulf Coast? I'm all over it.

I've never considered myself much of a fisherman, but nonetheless, this seems to be the common male bonding activity these days, so I'd hardly classify it as "unique".

I enjoyed fishing and camping when I was younger, but don't have the motivation to do it now as an adult. If somebody organized a fishing trip for me as a gift then I would be very pleased.

I know a couple of people who would love this. A nice touch would be to put the fishing voucher into a new tackle box or attached to a new rod for their excursion.
