Terrible wings, but a great ham and cheese sandwich. I though guys went their for the girls but the waitresses I saw looked like the line at a planned parenthood building. Springdale.......go to Buffalo Wings and Rings. The wings are better. Your not getting a date at Hooter s anyway.

The food isn't too great.  I usually end up getting a grilled cheese, which is surprisingly good.  The fries are good.  It's a good place to drink some beer and watch a game.  The girls vary from restaurant to restaurant.  The closer you are to a beach or tourist spot, the better looking and smarter the girls get.  I don't go to gawk at the waitresses, but they don't wear anything overly revealing.  They're just getting paid to flirt a little with the customer, nothing wrong with that.

Do people go there to eat?  Come on, now.

They serve food? Gee, somehow I never noticed.

Actually pretty mediocre to poor food, and lousy service, although I can make allowances for the latter. 

Oh, c'mon! How could you NOT pay any attention to the waitresses' chests?  You have to look around or over them to see ANYTHING else in the restaurant!  The food is OK, but how far wrong can you go opening up a box of prepackaged frozen burgers or chicken wings and following the instructions to put them on the grill and serve?  If you are there because you love the food, or the beer, or the large screen TV's broadcasting continuous sports on every wall, you are also there because you happen to enjoy those things while surrounded by young girls with large breasts.

I really don't pay any attention to the waitress's chests or anything.
I'll usually go there with my cousin and her parents, and the ones here are really good, the food is good, the only bad thing is that they put a pickle on most every dish.
Not bad prices, most of the waitresses are nice and knowledgeable, not just dumb blondes that serve beer to pervs.
So I guess Richmond has better restaurants than most of the other places... it seems most of the other cities out of Virginia have crappy food and service.

Sorry, I'm going to have to say that anyone who says "I go there for the wings" is lying.  The wings suck.

My friends and I are looking for a new place to do trivia night, and since it's 2 of us girls and 4 guys, the vote was for Hooter's.  So, I went with it.  I mean, I guess I didn't expect anything that great, but the wings that are supposed to be so great were the worst I've ever had.  I mean, I didn't know you could screw hot wings up THAT bad.  It was dry, and the sauce was unimpressive (tried two kinds of wings, just to be on the safe side.  They both sucked).  I didn't expect the service to be exceptional, and I didn't leave with any surprises.  

And I guess the guys go there for the "atmosphere", but the boys weren't impressed.  I don't count my husband, who says the waitresses weren't much to look at, but my very single guy friends weren't that impressed, either.  Very underwhelming experience overall.

The food wasn't that good. Probably won't go again. Attractive women in skimpy outfits acting like they like you is not enough of a draw for me.

I thought the wings were supposed to be great?! Boy was I surprised. I was even more surprised that the waitresses were only around 17 years old and had no "hooters!" What a waste!

uhh, other than getting to see girls wearing tight T-shirts and very short, shorts, I can't understand why anyone would want to eat here. We went there once and it was only because we were out of town and it was the first place we could see that was open. First let me say, that the whole reason why it is called Hooters is because the girls are supposed to have them! Our server was lucky if she was even wearing an A cup, her service was not good as she was very dingy, and the price and food was not so good either. Not impressed in anyway. Now a days if you want to see a scantaly clad lady, big boobs or otherwise, all you have to do is walk down the street, sad, but true.

The sites are great, the beer cold, but I wouldn't feed their food to my dog

What a waste of time and money. Of course if all you want to do is stare at airheads with big breasts, then go ahead and throw away your money.

This place used to be fun to visit, but now it's just another mundane chain. My experience there a year ago and my experience there six years ago do not even compare. I guess back then there weren't as many restaurants (maybe 3 in Houston) and the girls were nicer to look at, lending support to my theory that everything is better when there's not so much of it everywhere. My rating applies to my most recent experience in which the wings were subpar, the girls were not as personable, and the atmosphere was just okay.

This place is nasty, the hot wings are ok but sometimes they have an odd taste. Theres a bunch of half naked girls running around. Not my cup of tea. I can make better hot wings and I have prove LOL

Never been there, I'd rather go to my favorite topless place. The girls there are just really nice.

Hooters sucks. It's a total blue-ball. Wanna look at girls? Go to a strip club. Wanna eat? Go to a restraunt. None of this in-between giggle-giggle look-at-the-tight-shirt-high-school-crap. Get naked and get my attention or leave and let me concentrate on my lunch. What a crock. . .

The whole concept is horrible and the food is not that great. This is one tacky place. Never again.

more times than not, the wings i have had at hooters have been good. once in a while they will suck, but not usually. the hooters in houston have great looking attendants. ones in chicago not bad either. my current hooters is in milwaukee, and my experience there has been great so for. wish i would have thought of this: wings, girls and sports. Could have made a killing.

The food sucks and the waitresses arte fat annoying airheads who think that if they touch your sholder you will give them a bigger tip. Screw them, like I'm going to give my moneyt to some bimbo who can't do anythin but work at Hooters so she can use it to buy coke.

Hooters is a great place to eat! the New Orleans Shrimp is amazing! The staff is amazing the manager sat at our table for a few minutes to just talk and make sure the food was delicious! The staff has a variety of beatiful girls. They all seemed very nice and had a great attitude. I didn't even have to ask for a refill. For dessert I chose carmel fudge cheesecake it was delicious. This was my first experience in the resturant and I had a preconceived notion that the restaurant would be degrading but it's not, the girls are just trying to pay bills and some are paying for their own school. I am definately going back in the near future! keep up the good work girls!!

food is mostly for sh&t. bad wings, bad everything. the outfits are pleasant on the waitstaff but not worth the heartburn. i'd rather get wings from a good local joint and go home and eat them while watching porn.

Now, I'm a woman so most people will probably take my opinion with a grain of salt. However, Judging this place on food alone it is horrible. Their food is over priced, and not very appetizing. I understand most people don't go there for the food, and I went there for a friends birthday party, and it was fun. They made him do some funny things, but honestly gentlemen is it worth going to just to ogle some girls that you would never have a chance in hell with?

Great kids place. The ladies cooed over my little boy and signed his bib. My baby loved all of the eye candy.

I was really surprised by the low rating this establishment has earned. I read all the negative comments and cannot disagree more. #1. The food is not overpriced. Half a buck per wing is pretty much the going rate these days. Compare a Hooters wing to a Domino's wing or a Pizza Hut wing, and then tell me who is overpriced. Hooters wings have double the meat than the pizza-joint wings. Hooter's wing dressing is several cuts above the competition, as well. #2 I can't help but concluding some of the negative comments are due to waitresses not falling head-over-heels at the sight of a pathetic, Camry-driving, yuppie putz who was raised in a school system where self-esteem was over-emphasized. These young ladies had a life long before you darkened their doorstep.

Simply awful. Food sucks. Waitresses feel that they can treat you like crap because they are dressed skanky. Terrible all around.

Broads just aren't that hot. A real crap shoot on the service. No liquor is a huge minus that isn't made up for by a big chest and tight shorts. Grilled cheese is priced like a NY Strip. Only plus and reason for another star is oysters are actually decent and sometimes the only option in the midwest.

Expensive, below par food. The last time my friend and I ate here we got snubbed by every Woman working in this place. The waitress was so fake, she didn't even play it off good, she would talk to me, ask me what I want to eat, but wouldn't look at me while talking. Her service was much better at the table next to ours, a table full of studly guys got good treatment, us Average mortal Men get the crap service. When we got done eating the greeter by the door said nothing to us, like Have a nice night or Come back again If I wasn't mistaken me and my friend must have been invisable.

First off, the food sucks. The main attraction is the women, and you can see more flesh at a strip club, so why bother? Hooters is an eyesore....it's Denny's for perverts.

Oh, I just love it when I see all the women talking about how men come here for the girls and not for the food and all that bull. I have been going to Hooters for about 10 years, and my family has never had any problem with going to Hooters. I mean, GOD FORBID THAT THERE BE A RESTAURANT WITH ATTRACTIVE WOMEN AS WAITRESSES!!!!! That would be SO bad. Get over it people.

You can't ask for more from a restaurant--- great food value, cold beer, sports on T.V., great atmosphere, ...and... oh yeah, there's just something about those waitresses.

I love this restaurant. Great food like Buffalo Shrimp, Fries, and Hamburgers. The service is the best. It is so unique and fun. The atmosphere is awesome. The only bad thing is that is is kind of expensive. People think it is such a bad place but it isn't. Go in there and your mind will change. You see more on the beach, you can even see more out on the streets or at the mall. This restaurant it great.

What the hell is it with this so called degrading of women? It is not degrading if they chose to work there. Let's talk about what we are rating here and that is the food. It's overpriced crap.

Ok, noone goes here for the food. But c'mon, it's a fun place to go with a group of friends to watch a game, relax, have a few beers. The waitresses are not naked, I go here with a girlfriend, she has fun, loves sports, etc.

Mom and Dad: hey, i'm in college and its not like your paying my rent. i'm not a porn star for cryin' out loud. hooters isn't the "gateway" to working in a strip club!

Sounds from the reviews many here would rather go to BRUCE'S or DICK'S ( Dick's..get it) Personally being one who likes women I'll stick with those Hooters.

The scenery is excellent, of course. But the only thing I would ever order off the menu is the chicken wings--I think they're the best. Other than that, forget it. The food's bad and the beer is overpriced.

I'm a lady and it makes me sick that women allow themselves to be degraded like this.

The food is average at best. The very attractive and (ususally) friendly waitresses make it worth going back!
