VOIP finally gives us the right to tell the phone companies what we really think. Why can you browse a website on the other side of the world for (essentially) nothing, but it costs you a few dollars an hour to talk to someone across state lines? VOIP eliminates much of the BS that we've been overpaying for for YEARS. No more surcharges or excessive taxes, until Uncle Sam realizes how great it is, which is when it'll be ruined completely. I'm taking advantage now before that happens.
