 | supermusicman (0) 11/04/2006 | I had a delicious lunch at the Lonestar Steakhouse & Saloon
where Pat Batey is manager. What a great restaurant he runs there in Bridgeton, MO. on St. Charles Rock Road!
We had a superb meal served by Beth who was excellent in every sense of the word! We intend on dining there as often as we can. themusicman7@charter.net 11/4/06

 | yasmeen19 (0) 05/21/2005 | This place can be downright addictive! Try the Five-Star Filet...gorgeous, tender meat - filet mignon wrapped in bacon. Last week I went there after my modeling shoot, with a couple of fellow models...and we tried lots of stuff. I enjoyed the grilled pork chops...two tender, juicy 8-oz. center-cut chops, mesquite-grilled to perfection. YUM!!!

 | Gy-rater (0) 12/07/2004 | Better than Outback any day, but basically the same thing. If the wait is more than 15 minutes, forget it and move on, unless you really think that grilling a steak requires talent. If you do, you should probably just eat tv dinners.

 | opinion585 (0) 10/27/2004 | My mother worked there for a while, they treated her like a dog, and many of the employees would spit on people's food, don't go there EVER!!!

 | Destiny98 (1) 09/02/2004 | I am not a huge fan of Lone Star. The service is usually just fine but I am not overly impressed with their food. Especially their prime rib. It never has any taste to it whatsoever. I really only go here if the person I'm with really wants to go.

 | Doctor of Madness (11) 07/25/2004 | I've tried them in several different states , wanting to like them. I don't get it. As steakhouses go, Lone Star isn't any good.

 | hotel283 (20) 06/24/2004 | umm, aren't fajitas supposed to be sizzling when they bring them to you? Are they supposed to be swimming in a pool of partially congealed grease? Mexico is going to invade if we keep supporting restaurants that seem to think Mexicans like frozen, stale, undercooked food all the time

 | BeanoCook (3) 02/15/2004 | Ate there one time. Steak was rancid. Seriously, the manager came over and offered another steak. No thanks pal. Place was fired. Godless society.

 | dovekiller (1) 08/05/2003 | They only have one USDA Prime steak on the menu. We tried it and it was vulcanized rubber. The manager took them back and offered us anything we wanted. The steaks are actually worse, much worse, than anything you can find at the local supermarket.

 | Frank15 (0) 03/22/2001 | It's called a steakhouse, but the steak is just OK. I've had better steaks at Copeland's, which isn't listed anyway, so I can't rate that. So we have just average steak, but what about the dessert? Blech! I had a cherry cobbler recently, it was old, the "biscuit" was spongy, and the cherries themselves were mushy. And since when does a cobbler have a spongy buiscuit-like thing? It's supposed to have crust! A good crust! The restaurant is rather pricy compared to some steak places, and not all that great either. The restaurant itself is rather unclean, but the steak is at least OK.
