An enjoyable piece of Columbia Pictures cinema that economic realities in Hollywod make no longer feasible. Jack Lemmon's resolve is put to the test rustling cattle for a crew led by inscrutable Glenn Ford. Much of the appeal in this clash of personalities is reminiscent of other sophisticated takes on incompatibility with father-figure relationships.
