She's not a politician.  She does not fit the category.

Not a politician and almost nobody takes her seriously anyways...

She is homely enough to scare a blind buzzard off a gut wagon. That being said, she is not a politician although she appears at many policitical events. If she wasn't so brainless, I'd slip her a fiver.

To most, Barbra Streisand is the poster child for the most polarizing figures (let alone politicians). Yes, she does not hold public office. And yes, she has never sought any political office. However, her liberal bias against any politician she disagrees against is not a well-kept secret (to say the least). Furthermore, Babs conveniently uses her influence in Hollywood to promote her causes- as in the case where she tried to justify the slanderous portrayal of the Reagans starring her husband, James Brolin in a made-for-television movie. Most of all, she is a hypocrite who exploits the destitute and downtrodden. Yet, at the same time, she would never be caught dead mingling with them. She ought to practice what she preaches instead of pontificating from her luxurious Malibu home about the evils of excess. In essence, these reasons are why she is such a polarizing figure.

She's certainly polarizing, naive, and misinformed to a great degree, but she isn't a politician. Nor is Michael Moore for that matter. Why are they on the list?

I would call her an activist, now progressive on the other hand?Radical, big mouthed, leftist, long nosed wench would be better.Just because you are famous does not give you the right to be a politician!

If she's not a politician, then tell her to shut up and sing. (Look up the definition of Politician in the dictionary)
