Movies showing the death, violence, or abuse of children

I know this is sometimes necessary in the plot of a movie, but it makes me very uncomforable, and hurts my feelings. I usually avoid movies that features this in the script.

I don't want to see any movie where children are abused or murdered. If it's necessary to the plot, I would prefer that it not be depicted in detail.

At times a movie may call for this to happen, it doesn't make it any easier to watch.

Thankfully, there aren't really any movies that I watch that have this. This is disturbing and certaintly not neccessary for a creative work of cinema.
