The thing I find fascinating is the number of people who ended up committing suicide or that were involved in "accidents" that were affiliated with the Clintons. All tolll, including while Governor and during the Presidency the number is near 200 deaths.

Nice witch-hunt. . .swing and a miss. . .for god's sake- how hard could it possibly be to find dirt on that hustling redneck? Can ANYONE become the governor of Arkansas by honest means?

Thanks to millions of dollars in taxpayer money wasted on Republican witch-hunt investigations, it has been proven that Bill Clinton had nothing to do with the 'Whitewater' affair. His wife, however, almost certainly did ('Every non-sexual scandal in the Clinton administration can be traced back to Hillary'-Dick Morris).

While Clinton himself may have been able to dodge the bullets in this scandal, people who say that there was nothing there or that this was some kind of a fantasy seem to have forgotten that the following people were either found guilty or plead guilty: Ak. Gov. Jim Guy Tucker, fraud, felony convictions, 3 counts. Jim McDougal, fraud and conspiracy, felony convictions, 18 counts. Susan McDougal, felony, 4 counts. William J. Marks Sr., conspiracy. Steven Smith, conspiracy. Larry Kuca, fraud. Neal Ainley, 2 misdemeanors for embezzlement. David Hale, guilty plea, conspiracy. Chris Wade (Whitewater real estate investor), felony conviction. John Haley, fraud. Robert Palmer, felony conviction for conspiracy. Charles Matthews, guilty plea, bribery. Eugene Fitzhugh, bribary conviction. Webster Hubbell, the number two ranking justice department official, felony conviction for embezzlement and fraud. John Latham, CEO of Madison Bank, bank fraud conviction. This isn't going to be remembered as the biggest scandal of the 20th century but to claim that there was nothing there or that wrongdoing in Whitewater is a fantasy is to close your eyes to the facts. Clinton may have been able to skate around the incident but considering that these people were sent to jail by conviction or their own guilty plea clearly shows that illegal deception, bribery, and fraud existed in this case.
