Solid. And a good listing. I saw this film while a teenager and was clearly aware it wasn't a film 'for me' but I did notice that a few characters clicked. William Hurt's character wound up being just like a crusty old frat brother of mine. . .this ensemble piece was good but not great, and the other reviewer makes a good point- the amazing soundtrack simply carries the film.

Well above average, particularly Hurt, Goldblum and Kline. A few discordant notes keep it out of the top rank of ensemble movies, despite how good the soundtrack is.
