05/08/2007 | I like this show it is pretty funny. The one problem I have is that I get so busy doing other things that I completely forget it's on. This is one of the better shows that is on the CW.

04/24/2006 |  This show is sooooooooo funny. Based on my previous reviews I've never been a fan of Chris Rock, but this show has allowed me to see a more human side to him. It's almost like a black "Wonder Years". When the "Wonder Years" first aired I was the same age as Fred Savage who played Kevin Arnold so I more or less grew up with the show and found it fascinating how kids lived in the 60's/70's. Whilst I grew up in the 80's/90's I found chopper bikes, going for walks in the woods and having a first colour TV hilarious compared to how I was growing up with Nintendo, Baggy Clothing and Cable TV. Now watching "Everybody Hates Chris" - Chris in the show is around the same age as my niece - and I laugh at a 13-year-old getting excited at toys I remember and are more-or-less taken for granted compared to the choices kids have today like a personal cassette player which is the equivalent of an ipod or the Atari game console which is equivalent to the Sony PSP. Even watching Chris' younger sister Tanya getting excited for those ugly cabbage patch dolls and clothes that was almost signature at that time for example Puma trainers and leather jackets. This show has the potential to be around for a long time, I just hope the gags and memories keep coming.

12/24/2005 | a 4.5. our whole family likes this show { a rarity} very enjoyable and funny. Based on Chris Rock when he was 13. centers around his family and school life. the actors in the family are real funny. especially the mom and dad and Chris. Narrated by Chris Rock. well done show. one we watch every week.

11/09/2005 | for the dumbass below my comment... this show is about chris rock as a kid, it has nothing to do with everybody loves raymond. THIS SHOW IS AWESOME!!! watch it. 8pm on thursday, upn. good stuff.

10/12/2005 | I have never seen this, and I never will. Get an original thought for crying out loud. Can you actually tell me that "Everybody Loves Raymond" is not part of the thought process for the title to this "show?"
