 | Rockwitit (0) 12/20/2005 | Marshawn could have been in the final two. Depending on the grouping at the end she could have competed against both Rebecca and Alla. Remember up until then (like Rebecca) there was no negatives against her. But her destiny was decided on one fatally bad decision. A decision that also aided Rebecca's cause. But let's be realistic she did not "drop the ball" or "let her team down". That was done by the PM. They were going to the boardroom because of a decision the PM made. The PM was going down! Everybody else was good to go, including Marshawn. But, unfortunately she choked and it hurted HER not the team.
Her big concern was that if she did the presentation she would be blamed for the failure of the task; cause everyone knew they were going to lose. This is why I was so disappointed, because as a promising lawyer, she should have been wise enough to know how to make sure blame was placed on the right cause. The task was a failure way before the presentation.
My second disappointment with her was her response in the boardroom. I believe that her decision put her on the chopping block, but she could have saved herself by stating the truth about why she didn't want to do the presentation. And that is she was not comfortable with the finshed product. It may not have helped but it was a better answer than what she gave which was no answer. Again she choked under pressure.
Bottom line she should not have turned down doing the presentation. Her unwarrantied fears caused her to make a bad decision and lead to her demise. Too bad she could have made it to the final four and possibly beyond. Mainly because she didn't make mistakes, but the one time she did it was catastrophic.

 | LordThanos (0) 12/18/2005 | She had some potential, but it's rare that I have seen a candidate so callously abandon their team on a task. While she didn't want to be blamed for Brian's folly, it's difficult to believe she didn't realize how much damage she was doing to her own standing by refusing to help her team in their hour of need.

 | JackCox (0) 10/27/2005 | Will be one of the final four. No doubts about this one. I believe She, Rebecca, Randal and Adam will be the final four.

 | zuchinibut (41) 10/25/2005 | Marshawn is a very good speaker, and impresses me with her ability to stay calm when others are struggling under pressure. She seems to be a strong contestant and I expect her to be there near the end. She does not appear to get caught up in the bickering among the other women on the show.

 | dragonbaby (0) 10/21/2005 | Watched last night's (Zathura) episode...Marshawn seems to be trying to step out as a team leader when she tells them she's tired of their bickering. Interesting...
The editing of the Lamborghini episode (Marshawn's turn as PM) suggested she didn't have her hands on the wheel as manager. But that team put together a solid, winning presentation. And somebody had to have been responsible for putting the nuts and bolts of it together. It had to have been Marshawn.

 | Vanya (0) 10/17/2005 | Girl - you need to look at yourself in the mirror !!!
You are the type of person we call a COCONUT.
Marshawn, if I can give you some advice, those dumb blondes on your team are NOT going to help you win this competition - you need to make friends and allies with people who won't stab you in the back at any opportunity and have a chance of winning (i.e. Rebecca, Randal, Toral ...)
I do believe you are a good person at heart, but believe me when I tell you that, in this country, being black means you have to face some harsh realities, which you clearly have not grasped.
Try to associate with people who will help to expand your intellectual and cultural horizons, because you clearly need to.
P.S. Coconuts are white on the inside
