evenchaya - I couldn't agree more. And what a jerk last night, when Trump asked for his opinion on the two current candidates, for help in picking one, he ignored the question and talked about himself and how things are going for him and had to get a plug in for his own website...? What the #%$@ is that about!
I thought he was great and should have won, but he could not have handled himself worse when he won and Trump asked him about Rebecca, I can't stand him know and after his self promotion last night forget about it!!

Randal shocked me, he refused to let Rebecca have a position within the Trump organization. That shows that he was threatened by this intelligent, hard working person. Too bad for you Randal you're a joke. I liked both of you until you showed your true colors when Mr. Trump gave you the option to let Rebecca have a slice of the pie.

If I could choose 0 stars I would! I know I'm only posting this now, a year later, but seeing Randal on the latest Appretice (which winner I'm extremely thrilled with - Sean) all the old feelings welled up inside me. I thought he would have been a good Apprentice, but once he said there was only "ONE APPRENTI" I about hit the ceiling! What nerve! Rebecca had been INCREDIBLE and THIS was the time to be generous and SHARE! SHE deserved the job JUST AS MUCH AS HIM and for TRUMP to even suggest it, meant HE thought so as well! I hope I NEVER have to see RANDAL'S face again!!!!!

Where is Randall? Randall was the only reasonable choice as Apprentice. He had the education AND the drive AND the Experience.

It's time to see him on the 2006 Apprentice!

It was unfair for Randall to have worked so hard to win, and then be pressured to share the spotlight. Allowing Rebecca to become a charity "Apprentice" would have changed the story from "Randall's earned victory" to "Randall and Rebecca -- The Apprenti". Remember told Mr. Trump he should hire her, but just not that very night. It was a night of victory for him. He earned it. All in all, everyone knows he deserved it because he was the best. So people have to find more politically correct reasons to express hatred toward Randall.

I faithfully viewed all four of DT's Apprentice shows - I saw a side of Mr. Trump that differed from the one depicted in the tabloids; I was loving him until he let me down by reveiling his true self. My true belief is, Mr Trump, identifies the person from day one who he wants to work for him, as is evident in the extent he went to, to hire Rabecca. He knew that she lost fare and square and couldn't make her the apprentice, so he makes Randal his scapegoat........I feel betrayed because this is the first minority to win and win by a large margin and Mr Trump chose to mess him up and made it into a distastful victory. Let Randal Shine Like he deserves to. Randal may God's favour continue to be with you.... Because you are Black I know that you are strong. NB. Whatever you do, if it is not according with the word of God drop it like hot cake.

I think Randall is great. I really think his education helps him to be a better person. Who said he is terrible? If he is terrible he would not have 3 Masters and a PhD. You guys out there, Postgrad education is that easy as what you think! Randall, you are the best.

The apprentice was a competition - and competition is not about winning and losing. Competition is all about character. Competition requires that you push yourself, your abilities, display your assets, commitment and so on - but the most important of all - it is about character. When Randal won the apprentice he was offered the opportunity to show his depth of character - unfortunately he failed and failed miserably. Randal was not asked to give up his 1st prize or compromise himself in anyway - he was asked to show appreciation to a worthy contender. It's obvious that although Randal was a good competitor in the apprentice - on the final night he showed that he can't handle competition in the work environment. Joe & Lou from Australia

All of you who are against randall are haters, the fact is, he is the apprentice and there is nothing you can do about it! He is a great leader and that's why Mr Trump hired him. Never compare Randall and Omerosa they are total opposites. the fact is, if it was Rebecca she would never accept Mr Trump to hire Randall. So please give us a break. GO RANDALL!!!!!

Randal took the job all for himself, and that is fine, but he left Rebecca feeling like crap after the finale and left her to bite the dust. Look, Randal was strong throughout the whole competion, but he should not have acted the way he did at the finale.

Randall did the right thing because tabloid television would have torn up his marriage and personal life with rumors of affairs and misgivings with Rebecca. It was more of an insult of Donald to ask him if he should hire the young lady or not.

Rebecca: Hire me Randall! Please? Pretty please? Randall: No way bitch. Haha great TV moment. I love Rebecca, but I can't say I blame Randall. It was kind of unfair of Trump to put him on the spot like that. I think he deserved to win overall, and will be a good asset to Trump's company.

Had I had to rate him before the final show, I would have said a five. He was classy, and the only sign of treachary was the task where he and Rebecca scooped up the megaphones before the opposing team did. I'd even let that one slide, despite the fact it was morally wrong, in my eyes. However, on the final show, he had the opportunity to really shine. I think everyone knew that he would pass Rebecca simply because of his age and experience and education. But he lacks character. His ego went into overdrive when it wasn't necessary. Trump let HIM be the decider. He could have said "There is only one apprentice Mr. Trump, and I feel that as the winner, I deserve that role completely and to myself--but I do feel that Rebecca and her abilities cannot be simply ignored and left out. What can we do for her?" Then the ball would have been back in Trump's court, and Randal wouldn't be demonized for his lack of character. He would have been the star. Rebecca however, was the real winner. She held herself well in the face of everything thrown at her, including inappropriate remarks made by Alla (check my spelling please.) Randal's victory has as much bad aftertaste as Bush's in 2000 once the Supreme Court elected him. Sincerely, Mathew

He made the right decision. When one wins a competion, you don't invite the 2nd. placer winner to be 1st. too! This is a no brainer. He is highly, highly qualified. With all due respect, she is not.

Randall made the right decision, and Donald was wrong to put him on the spot like that. If he wanted Rebecca too, I could have respected him saying "You Both Are Hired" instead putting Randall in this predicament. We don't need another Clay/Rueban situation, and that's exactly where this is heading. Rebecca will be fine just like many other runner ups in previous shows who have been picked up by other companies.

For those that think Randal's decision was selfish... "Did you watch the show?" Rebecca tried to get Randal fired in previous boardrooms.... she lied to get him fired, and went as far as calling him irresponsible. Hello??? She remembered it was a competition then!! I watched the entire apprentice from the first show to the last, and Randal truly deserved to win. He was "outstanding". Rebecca won only one challenge, and Randall helped her win it. And how could Mr. Trump put Randal in such an unfair position? I think that was the biggest insult... Randal was clearly more deserving of the prize. I don't even know how Rebecca got in the final two, she was just lucky. It would've been sooo unfair to Randal and the other competitors if he had shared the title with her. If that had happened I would never watch the show again. Congratulations Randal!!! You made an excellent decision... You and only you deserve the prize!

I am disappointed with the way Randall responded to his first challenge as an Apprentice. Some people here raise several things in Randall's defense - (i) he was put in an uncomfortable position and Donald Trump should not have put him in that positon and (ii) Randall is a competitive and a winner so why should he help his "competitors". My thoughts on this is that Randall showed poor judgment. So what if DT put him in an awkward position? DT is his boss. Plus, Randall will be put in many awkward positions over the course of his career. As for the comment that Randall is a competitor and competitors always think about being number 1 - I think that winners should think of being number 1 in the long, not short-term. It was clear that his boss wanted to hire Rebecca (otherwise he would not have put the offer on the table) and he should have opted to make his boss happy. It would have served in his own best intersts in the long run to (despite inner discomfort of doing so) share the limelight with Rebecca. I agree that Randal was put in a tough position. But so what? This is nothing compared to the tough positions he will be in the future. I think that he himself put a taint on his winning by making a wrong judgment call. I love Randall and Rebecca both. They're both hardworking, ambitious and smart. I'm glad that they made it to the final two. However, I vigorously believe that Randall made a poor decision and if I were Donald Trump, at that second, I'd be wondering whether I made the right hiring decision. SRS

America is a free enterprise system. We have not come as far as we have but for a competitive drive to succeed and excel. That's what has made us the superpower of the world. Are we always right? No. Does the world community always agree? No. Our way of doing business is deeply rooted. It's the survival of the fittest. The best win. Mr. Trump determined that Randal was the best. Anyone who is willing to review and interpret the facts will agree. Rebecca lost. She's a great contender and will go far in life. But the apprenticeship did not belong to her. Who in the American way of business is asked to help his competitor? To 'pull them up' by your bootstraps? It's contrary to the root of our society. I say, enjoy the way things are. It distinguishes us as individuals and rewards those who dare to push their way through..those who work the hardest and acheive results. As a woman, I say to Rebecca, "Live is full of losses as well as victories. Get up. Dust yourself off. Go get em." And to Randall I say, "Way to go. You've proven yourself." Mr. Trump himself could say no less.

I am so proud of Randall and all of his accomplishments. I fully condone what he did Thursday night. (Not that it should matter, but my "demographics" are very similar to Rebecca's - white, female etc.) It was only "fair" that one Apprentice be selected that night - fair to the previous Apprentice runner-ups, as well as to this season's candidates, many of whom were far more qualified than Rebecca but just didn't happen to make it to the finals. (The firing process, as far as I'm concerned, was VERY subjective.) Rebecca absolutely disgusts me, with her smug self-righteousness. The only reason she made it that far was because she served as Trump's personal "eye candy." (Contrary to what everyone else in the universe (it seems) thinks, I think she is unattractive/funky looking.) If she had been unattractive, nobody would be griping about what Randall did. Trump (not to mention every journalist in the world - presumably white - e.g. Larry King disgusted me Monday night) was so blatantly biased/superficial. Everyone here who believes that Rebecca is so sweet, yadda yadda...it's called a facade, a pretense. She is just as shrewd as the next person. She is not a "victim." She is behaving like such an opportunist in the wake of this fiasco, milking sympathy from everyone and posing for interviews left and right. I also don't understand Trump and everyone else's prattle about her broken ankle and with depicting her as some sort of heroine or something. Boo hoo hoo. When people in the "real world" break a bone(s), they return to work despite it. Physical pain may hamper some of your movements and so forth, but it's the easiest form of pain to remedy. Pop in a Tylenol or two, or maybe a Vicodin if you have access to it. Emotional/mental pain (e.g. death of a loved one), however, cannot be alleviated as such - and it is THOSE persons who are able to persevere under such circumstances that should be commended for being "tough" (a word Trump tossed around WAY too freely in reference to Rebecca). Anyway, I cannot believe it's been almost a week since the finale, and I am still riled up about this. I really feel sorry for Randall and how he's being vilified. Season 4 of the Apprentice was the first season I had ever watched. I definitely will not be watching it again. Instead of being about hiring the most business-oriented and competent person, the program's apparently a beauty pageant "incognito." The person who should be most ashamed of his behavior is Trump. What he did to Randall and to viewers with half a brain was absolutely tasteless and unforgivable.

What a hipocrit Randal is. It is very unfortunate that once again, a member of our Black Professional Community acts so unprofessionally and hipocritically (Need I remind you of Omarosa?). Randal was presented an opportunity in which he could have shown the class of which African Americans display, and turned it down. It is too bad. I will no longer affiliate any vacations with Trump facilities do to this poor display of character.

The is aint teh "aprrenti" as in teh plural form. wuts teh point of this damn show if more than one person was hired? NBC is just trying to draw in ppl's attention and promoting teh show show for teh next season. Randal had nothing to do with this and besides, u cant judge a person with one decision under pressure. Wow, the larry king interview was very interesting and should put all this name calling and everything else to a rest. If you want to go read the transcript because you didn't see the show I posted the link below. TRUMP: Well, if he had accepted, I would have also hired -- I would have done a double. I would have also hired Rebecca. And I think Rebecca knows that. If Randal would have said, I would be honored to do that, Mr. Trump, that would be great. Which, again, probably would have been, definitely would have been, the more popular decision, not necessarily the right one, but the more popular decision. Perhaps it would have been a decision that was less business oriented but a more popular decision. But if he had said that, I would have also hired Rebecca. That was from the transcript. If you all go and read the whole transcript, it seems Trump is saying yes I'll hire Rebecca and then on the other hand it wouldn't be a good business decision to hire Rebecca. He says above it would have been a POPULAR decision if Randall had of said yes, but not a good BUSINESS decision. Heeellloo, I think that says it all. The whole interview says it all. It seems they're trying to be nice about what they really think about Rebecca. Ooooh I don't know, I'm just glad they did that interview and got it over with. CASE CLOSED and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. click link below to read the transcript. :) http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0512/19/lkl. 01.html

He's a low-class business wannabe hack, professional student. He's also written several racist publications. He's one of these black power types. Oh btw, I'm half-black, and I still think Randal is a dirtbag. This show is depressing anyway; it's a fine indicator of why America is going down. Basing a nation off of the free market seems to be a dire failure. The Chinese and Japanese are going to own this country in the future. All these idiot yuppies will hasten our demise. Randal is stupid anyway, he's burned every one of his bridges. I believe he most likely will not be asked to appear as a guest star in future shows...he's an embarassment to all decent, hard-working minorities...

In his own workds, Randall "runs a business" and "Rebecca writes about them." There is no comparison. She smiles a lot. But is very sharkish. She would not have hired Randall. Also, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Randall's refusal to have Trump hire her as well. I realy think it was probably a trick question. Remember, Trump was concerned that Randall was "too nice" and may not have had the kind of edge required in his (Trump's) business world. So, I think that there was the possibility that if Randall had said yes, it would have signaled that he intrinsically felt that he was not the clear winner and Donald Trump could have used that to give the Apprenticeship to Rebecca. Further, the point is to be hired as Donald's Apprentice. An apprentice is one who learns from the Master. Do you think Donald Trump would have, if he were put in Randall's position, offered to share his spoils? Donald Trump?! Absolutely not. We all know and love Donald for the oversized ego that he is. So, what would he do with an Apprentice, who was offered a job and then decides to share that "job" with his competition. BAD FOR BUSINES!!! Clearly, those of you who are making criticisms are thinking with your heart and not your head. I was also taken aback by Randall's passionate response. But, I fully understand it, 360 degrees. Think, think, think! - AHW.

Donald's Decision: Early in the boardroom showdown, Donald ask both contestants to choose a project. Randal and Rebecca chose different projects. Donald then made the comment "that makes my decision easy". Prior to that Donald made the comment "I have two stars". This tells me that Donald Trump was planning on hiring both Randal and Rebecca. After he made these comments there were several comments made by previous candidates that highly favored Randal. Also Randal made some impressive comments that separated himself from Rebecca. I believe these discussion swung Donald's vote to Randal. I believe that the arguments presented by the fired contestant as well as Randal's own surprisingly aggressive arguments left no doubt that he should be the Apprentice. It would have been hard to justify them being equal. However he still did not want to lose Rebecca as an employee. As I watched the show I knew Randal would be chosen but I also knew that Rebecca is a great person with a lot to offer. I was not surprised that he would want to pick her up also. I believe that after he hired Randal he tried to think of a way to hire Rebecca. Randal's Decision: If people would remember. Randal has always been nice and helpful to Rebecca. And I always felt he was to nice. People talk about how Randal did Rebecca wrong, but I want you all to remember two previous scenes. Scene 1. Rebecca and Randal were both brought into the boardroom with Clay. Donald asked Rebecca did she believe that Randal was more creative than Clay. And Rebecca stated that Randal was not more creative and basically endorsed Randal being fired. Randal was caught off guard and did not adequately respond. He was almost fired that week. Scene 2. Rebecca and Randal was dining with Donald's assts and they had to choose their teams. Rebecca definitely caught Randal off guard again, with her aggressiveness. Randal finally realized that this lil women with the broken leg was playing to win not be your friend. Final Decision: I believe that somebody talked to Randal before the final boardroom and told him he need to pick it up because Rebecca is kicking your ass. While you are being Mr Nice Guy she has been hitting you with numerous left hooks, because Randal showed that he can get down and dirty too. He made a lot of valid points on why he should be the Apprentice and I believe for once he intimidated Rebecca who was surprisingly less aggressive. For those who think Randal sold out his friend, relook the two scenes I mentioned earlier. Rebecca had already thrown Randal under the bus.

NAT Sweety, I wasnt worked up about anything nor will I get worked up over it either. Nor do I feel that I criticized anyone [as you have done so nicely to Randall with your name calling] I was simply trying to make a point by pointing out simple facts, I nothing like you or the the others, who have to call names. www.randalpinkett.com I think Randall making a decision like that knowing that people would disagree with him, only made Trump like him more. Just like when Rebecca stood up for Toral when everyone else wanted her to get fired. The fact that he told Randal "he could have been persuaded" makes it clear that Trump himself wasn't yet convinced Rebecca was up to the standards of the position. Maybe he eventually will be convinced that she is. But if someone so decisive had to ask Randal to make a case for Rebecca, it insinuates much about what hes already thinking. I cant wait for all of this to blow over. Its so obvious that Randall could care less what any of you think about him, otherwise he would have said yes. And its also so obvious that Trump could care less as well, otherwise he would have went against Randall and hired Rebecca as well. You all really need to stop making these ridicules comments. Randall didnt stop Rebecca from doing anything. She will still go on to be successful and so will he regardless. As you all know. And instead of focusing on that you would rather act like he ruined her career or something. WOW its amazing what people get so worked over these days when there are more serious issues going on in this world. I bet if it were okay, theres no telling what some of you would do to Randall. Oh yes race is a issue. It may not have been the reason Randall won or the reason he was put on the spot to whether Trump should hire Rebecca, but it is the reason a lot of you are upset. Whether you realize it or care to admit, it is. And that is what is so sad about all of this for me and scary. I doubt a lot of would not have taken the time to sit and call Randall names had the runner up been black or that you would even care. Why put Randal in a difficult situation? Would he have asked Rebecca to do this? There have been others who were equally as qualified, but he didn't ask them. And why is everyone saying Rebecca would have hired Randall if it were the other way around. How do you know? You thought Randall would have hired Rebecca as well before he said no, so what makes you so right about Rebecca. I am proud of Randall and Rebecca for making it into the final two. I liked them both. I think everyone is making a big fuss over nothing. Saying that Randall showed his true colors because he said no is wrong as well. I would have said no for the same reason he did Its the Apprentice not the Aprenti and I believe a lot of you and others would have done so as well. Why share his moment with her. If thats what you all consider a moment. Because if you ask me he didnt have one because Trump ruined it by asking him whether or not he should hire Rebecca and then off went the show. The only assignment she won she won with Randall. Randall was nice and professional throughout the show and with dealing with people because that is how youre suppose to act when dealing with people in a business atmosphere. No one should think any less of him for not hiring Rebecca. Everyone knows Randall is more qualified than Rebecca. Wait until after the show to offer her a job. I am so surprised that everyone is so upset over this. Get over it. I think a lot of people just wanted Rebecca to be hired as well because they liked her so much and completely lost point of the purpose of the show. Its a competition, she was no competition compared to Randall. You dont see two American Idols or two basketball teams winning the championship because they both played well. GIVE ME A BREAK I am so happy for him. And I dont see how people can say it was a hard decision because it wasnt. Or that Randall was wrong for saying no. Because he wasnt, do you think Ruben or the other American Idol winners would want to share their American Idol title with someone else, or that anyone would even ask them to for that matter. No because it wouldnt be fair. Let the winner enjoy their moment, Trump could have waited after the show to mention hiring Rebecca If he REALLY wanted to hire Rebecca that night he would have done so without Randalls permission. Everyone is posting such negative comments on Randall, and its not fair. He didnt pretend to be anything he wasnt. He did the job the way he was suppose to thats all. I have to smile at people I dont like everyday working in customer service and be nice. But that doesnt mean I will be that way at home or in a different situation. Like I said you all just need to get over it and give credit where credit is due without your little buts, and name calling. Its not necessary and will not change anything. Both individuals will go on to be successful and I wish them both the best of luck.

I'm truly sorry about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family Update...Randal, how could you? How could you do that to Rebecca? Like you, she too deserved a chance to be the Apprentice. My gut instinct told me that both of you would have been hired. That was so selfish of you. It would have been great if both of you were hired, because you two were the stars of the series. I'm disappointed in you, Randal. Very disappointed in you.

You all fell for the publicity stunt! This is entertainment and Donald got you all right where he wants you for the new episode of Apprentice 5. It’s just funny how people who live in glass houses like to throw stones. All of you that viewed (what many categorized) Randal’s selfishness recognized it because you have done the very same thing in your lives. You are lying or in complete denial if you say you have not showed or acted in a selfish manner in your own lives. Maybe his race or his gender interfered with your eyesight from seeing yourselves as Randal in the final moments of the show. Why did Donald posed a decision making question to a contestant (that he has never asked any other participate - in any of the previous episodes) that does not have the final decision of what occurs on each episode. Rebecca is not out in the cold because of Randal’s final statement. Donald and his executive team knew exactly who he had decided upon before the episode ended. Randal’s final expressed feelings had nothing to do with her fate. She appeared to be a strong contestant with a heart of stone and she surely she didn’t make it this far without being a little shrewd herself. Some of you are angry at Randal for expressing his true feeling instead of commending his honesty. I guess many of you who made those comments like the people we call “snakes in the grass” who usually ambush you and you can’t see coming. I didn't realize we had so many fortune tellers either among the responder that could predict that had Rebecca been given the same question she would have graciously responded by sharing her apprentice job with him a job. The fact is, we don’t know what would have transpired and we won’t know. I wonder how Trump interpreted Randal’s comments. Donald didn’t seem too insulted by Randal’s decision. He graciously accepted it, but there isn’t comment about that. Funny, isn’t it? Maybe because he ultimately wanted to test whether Randal could be shrewd (in front of millions of viewers) and can play with the big boys instead of being the nice superstar Trump referred to Randal as being. What was Donald thinking by posing that question especially when he has total control of the outcome of this episode? Turn off your selective hearing PEOPLE or put on your glasses and view the obvious. Can Randal be shrewd if he needs to be? Yes. Can he be expressive even if people don’t like what final decisions are made? Yes. Will he be influence by others or stand on his own decision? Yes. Can he have a backbone that is strong enough for the corporate world? He better have one. Don’t worry about Rebecca. Trump will make sure Rebecca gets a job and she fit exactly where he needs her in his organization. Randal expressed himself and played the role that many people selectively do not want to see from a brilliant African American male. Many would not rant and rave over this same episode conclusion had it been a Caucasians male. Open your minds and appreciate (even it you don’t agree) the truthfulness of people to be expressive. As American and in these days we should be welcoming as much truth as possible. Let’s move on!! Free your minds.

"peaceful1" criticizes others for getting worked up about futile issues such as the Apprentice...and yet she writes her own novel about the issue. ... We come to Rateitall to share our opinions, mostly opinions about things that are relatively UNimportant in the grand scheme of things, and we accept that. To peaceful1, Be careful of criticizing those whom you are like. As for Randall, shameful, man. just shameful. Nice guy, smart guy, probably the right choice... but i think all the attention made him nervous and arrogant. He most definitely made the wrong choice about not hiring Rebecca - could have easily given a friend the opportunity to have a great job, but chose to be selfish instead. I didn't see that one coming.

I wonder if Randal wasn't forced into blocking Rebecca's chance to become a second Apprentice? It's entirely possible the show may have been scripted to have an ending where Randal rather than Trump was seen as the bad guy. His final actions seemed very out of character with his performance through out the tasks. He was either forced into the role of the selfish villain at the end or he has a great career in acting after he finishes that job in Atlantic City.

Your a phone. When asked if Rebecca should also be the apprentice you sold out! If she was in your shoes she would have 100% chosen you as well. It reminds me of OJ that convinced a Jury.

I agree with Randal!! I feel he did a great job on the Apprentice, way better than Rebecca. Rebecca lost her last challenge and 2 out of 3 projects. On the other hand Randall raised $11,000.00 and won 3 out of 3 projects. Yet, he was asked to make Rebecca his equal - why? Maybe because he was the first Black Apprentice. I have seen cadidates that had very close experience and they were never put in the same position as Randal. Trump will hire Rebecca anyway, so why did he put Randal in the position of making such a decision? Think about - our maybe you already have.

Wow. Randal---you really disappointed me. Even if you had let Rebecca have the job also, it wouldn't make you less of a winner. In fact, it would've made you MORE of a winner.

It is shocking that Randall chose to be so selfish to deny Rebecca the opportunity to work with Trump. The only good from this is that Rebecca will receive job offers that will make Randall's look like a fry cook at McDonalds.

Lest we forget, this was supposed to be a competition. And when you consider it on those terms, Rebecca really was no match for Randal. Don't get me wrong, Rebecca grew on me - she was good for her age, and pretty level headed. But Randal is superman - likable, smart, experienced, proven, charismatic, ridiculously qualified - and 3-0 as project manager. I mean seriously, if you were hiring someone for your company, would you roll the dice with an unproven 23 year old, or take the proven superstar? Sharing the apprentice title would have implied that there was a tie - two ultra qualified talented people both equally deserving of the job. And this was no tie. Nothing against Rebecca, but you really can't compare the two. From day one, Randal stood head and shoulders above the rest of the field. An easy choice for Trump, and the fact that Randal considered himself the sole winner shouldn't be a surprise to anyone - he was.

I'm so disappointed in Randall. And I didn't think he was such a hot shot PM throughout. He made incredibly STUPID mistakes also. It really hurt to have seen his true selfish nature. Shame on you, Randall. Shame.

I think this whole thing is a case of "no good deed goes unpunished." However, I think Randal showed a total lack of respect for Rebecca after he had already won, and for all of Randal's "heart" that he was said to have, I think he turned into Alla/Tanna and showed his true colours. I thought it looked like he'd played everyone and is really not the person he acted like (or was shown acting like) during the entire show. I think he deserved to win, but how he handled what happened to him was terrible (like not checking the XM station to make sure it's right, not checking the weather, not having a plan "B"). I really did respect Randal, but all of his education can't hide the fact that he basically crapped on Rebecca when it would not have hurt him in any way.
