Absolutely, she was one of the most popular vocalists for many years. If other soft rock or AC artist are in the Hall of Fame, why cannot she be? Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, stop being so concerne with hipness and get back to the basics.

forget inducting ONJ, shes a crap artist that never wrote any of her hits & had a short hits career (71-85). she doesnt deserve it btw THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SOFT ROCK

Most of her 70's material was good. She has a great voice but she clearly is not rock'n' roll. While the HOF will honor performers who are not neccessarily rock they usually have some influence to the overall genre. ONJ clearly does'nt fit and her 80's work was embarassing!

Never. She had no rock hits to speak of. She had Billboard hits. I don't think we should let anyone in based solely on pop success. That is all she has going for her.

ONJ was the lamest girl out there in the 70s and 80s. For anyone who thinks differently, I have one word for you: XANADU!

OLivia makes some of the best music, (Even better than Whittney Houston!) and been around long enough to be inducted into the RnR Hall of Fame!
