Well made and disturbing film. Lot's of surprises throughout. Creative. Very good cast. See it at least twice to figure it all out.

Not for the simple minded or attention challenged. If you into actually watching a movie and trying to follow it then it might be for you. Very atmospheric and dark. Not an exact fit for the horror genre, but a sinister vision to be sure.

I guess this was a psychological horror film. It was pretty good. Some nasty, shocking scenes...gloomy feeling throughout the whole film. 3 and a half stars

A thought provoking film--not really a horror movie but an original, extremely moving film about a man struggling between life and death. Possibly Tim Robbins' best performance.

A well done movie. Especially liked that they didn't cop out with a Hollywood ending. It was the little things that made this move terrifying, the horn on the nurses head, the demon like look on Tim Robbin's girlfriends face in that on scene where she's shouting at him, etc.

Watching this movie the first time it's hard at times to understand. I personally had to watch it twice to get it completely. I would have given a 5 star rating but no movie in the Horror genre has gotten that from me yet because it's difficult to scare me when I know it's not true. The truth is always scarier than fiction.
