Shocking experience at the Tony Romas in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Starters of onion rings were poor, my main course was ordered wrong, the french fries were undercooked and then the bill was wrong (a bottle of wine charged instead of a glass). Really poor.

I have alway enjoys Tony Roma's, but do not go to the one in Las Vegas at the Freemont Hotel. Order 2 dinners for my husband and myself. My baked potato looked like overcooked. The minute I cut into and lost my complete appitite and so did my husband. The potato was so black inside it looked like something died in it. Told the bus boy and would let the waiter know. and I said no I want him to see it. He offer another, no I just want my money back. The chef came out and offer another meal, and his excuse we cant tell if the potato is rotten. I told him the potato was very overcooked before I cut into it, and I worked in food service business and never had come across something so disgusting. The waiter & chef were so rude, also very noisy and next to the kitchen. I did not have to pay for the meal. I will try to find a way to complain to the company. I recommend you not to go this particular Tony Roma's Sharon

Good smokey ribs and chicken. Fairly expensive though. The one in Salem, Oregon.

Lame ribs. greasy, meatless. $30 for what seemed to be a quarter pound fatty meat. Burned again at a useless chain.

MISSISSAUGA LOCATON::: I went to Tony Roma's last week and it was the MOST worst dinning experience I have ever experienced. From the unusual crunchie hard chunks found in my cheese burger to choking on the dirt still on my fries from unwashed potatos - this place was discusting. Not to mention I found a piece of a pasta noodle in my ketchup container. We didn't even order any pasta dishes or anything remotely looking like pasta - so how did it end up in my ketchup contatiner, I'll let you think about it. SIiiiiiiiiiCK!!!

I went to Tony Romas in Augusta GA. Had a roach crawl across the table and was served food with no silverware to eat with. Called the corporate office and they treated me very poorly and was very rude. They seemed not to care one way or the other. Manning Family

Basic, chain BBQ. Nothing bad, but nothing to get excited about.

If you want good BBQ, you can't go to a chain. You have to find a one of.

Our experience was at the Concord, CA location, and it was the absolute worst... in terms of service; just aweful.

Never really been impressed by the food, especially at the price they charge (other bbq places around here are so much better), but decided to try it again.

It was a service disaster, start to finish. The waiter so ignored us, the manager had to actually serve us (after succesive complaints failed to solve the problem), and no, the joint wasn't busy.

This waiter was forced by the manager to actually serve the food, but that was the last we ever saw him at our table.

What should have been a quick lunch turned into an hour from restaurant hell.

No, we've never been back there, or any other Tony Roma's, and never will. That was the fourth bad experience, and that's enough chances.

Beware the Concord Tony Roma's.

Tony Roma's is now on my "One chance and you blew it!" list. What an obscene waste of money and a pitiful excuse for premium dining. Not only did we have to wait 40 minutes for our food in a basically empty restaurant, but the ribs were plain-jane.

For the astronomically high price, I expected to see the Solar System when I tasted these. Luke-warm and dried-out is no way to treat a slab of ribs. I could have enjoyed better ribs at Chilis. [Alarms should have sounded when attempting to find good barbque at a place with a name like this]

This place is a great place to flush money if you've nothing better to do with it. In Texas, we only get burned on bad ribs once. This is the only place I've been asked by the rude, slow uncaring waiter [who thought he'd be cute and flirt with my attractive blonde date] to stiff him. I gladly obliged...and so did my date ;) In other words, the schmuk struck-out on all counts. He's lucky I didn't sock him. [Although he may not have been employed past that night after my date got through tearing the manager a new one]

Never again. Either fire up the grill or eat at your local barbque joint. Either will be immensely more profitable than a Tony Roma's endeavor.

we go to the jack london location once a week, one would think they would know us,, last week they did not bring the bread until the meal arrived, the conbination called for two sides i received only one when brought to the attention of the server it was ingnored , there was only one long awaited coffee refill and when cream was asked for it was ignored, while we waited for the bread the server was filling salt and pepper's the service was poor enough to make us think twice about visiting this location again . , last time the bread was also late, the only positive thing in the last two visits is the new salad they have the wedge salad. they say they close at 9pm they turn off the open sign at 8.30 aand turn away customers starting at 8.30,sorry ,we really did enjoy this place until recently, one would think the manager could smile at his customers once in a while,

Tony Romas on Freemont Street in Las Vegas, always one of our favorites!!! WHOA, but we went on Monday, January 9, and what a letdown. That will be the very last time for me. We had been to the one in Shreveport, and it closed down, and Freemont is next surely!! DO NOT go to the Freemont for dinner in Las Vegas at Tony Romas. Horrible. The service was the worst. The waitress worse than rude. The booth was in the door of the kitchen, and we could not even hear ourselves think!! The ribs were charred, then covered with sauce. We just wanted OUT!! If I can find a way to write the management, I have every intention of doing so. We did not complain, did not want comps, just wanted out of the place. STAY AWAY!

Sad to say, the Tony Roma's franchise in Omaha was sold for its physical location -- at an unbelievably huge price that just could not be turned down! Restaurants that serve pork ribs are a dime a dozen here and there is much competition for THE best. Not so with BEEF ribs. Roma's is MUCH missed. They were the BEST beef ribs to even be found in our area. We recently discovered their sauces can be purchased online by the case (or in gift packs), but $4 per 18oz bottle is a little much for us. FORTUNATELY, we discovered their recipe for our favorite BlueRidgeSmoky sauce, as well as the cooking method(as quoted by Roma's chef, Denis Zeeb). We now have our Tony Roma's events in our own back yard!

The one in my city closed. There are so many places to get ribs that are much better and less expensive. Ribs are a menu item that are best done at some cheap local dive with alot of atmosphere.

The one in Honolulu is pretty good. Love the big loaves of onion rings. However, nobody does barbeque like you Americans and Roma's BBQ, while good, is not outstanding compared to the small, non chain BBQ places all over the states

Tony Roma's Place for Ribs always delivers the goods. The ribs are meaty, tender, and the sauce has a nice taste to it. I never tried anything else there; but when you say you are a place for ribs, why get anything else. You can buy Tony Roma's BBQ Sauce at the supermarket. It makes my ribs taste quite good.

The meat in Tony Romas is very good. The chicken is very tender and the other meats are well cooked. I like the BB-Q sauce (supposedly its a secret). The bread and salads are very good there as well.

Tony Ramo has great ribs, steaks, shrimp, and fries. The restaurants have a pleasant dining atmosphere and great service. I ate at Tony Ramos restaurants while we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, Hilton head, and Cleveland and they are nice restaurants to eat in!

I ate there once and what I thought to be hair was wrapped around all the ribs I ordered. After talking to the manager I was told the BarBque brush had broke off in the sauce(gross) and that was the reason for the hair like stuff. I had to wait 20 more mins. for more food which was hard to eat. OH by the way still paid for hair and all.

Tony Roma's has the best ribs and it's not much more expensive than Chili's or TGI Friday's.
