Tiburon is a great little "get outta the city" spot. Just a short drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and your there. Pick one of the outdoor restaurants and enjoy a beautiful day here! I prefer Sam's which is right on the water and has really gorgeous views. Prices tend to lean to the higher side but if you share a few apps with friends you'll get out of here without breaking your bank. And, if you don't have a car...you can take the ferry there!!

One of the more fun things you can do on a sunny day in San Francisco is to take the Blue and Gold ferry over to Tiburon and hit Sam's. The ferry has a bar, and you can take your beers up on the roof and check out the gorgeous San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, Sausalito, etc. The ferry will take you right to Tiburon, which is like a 2 road little town with outdoor restaurants set right on the water. One of those restaurants, Sam's is about as big as an outdoor party that exists in the bay area, with boaters pulling up, girls all dolled up, and everyone baking in the sun and drinking pink lemonade vodka drinks. It's a fun day.
