This glove is only meant for players that are serious players. This glove is used by some of the best in the game today. Almost all players in the college world series use this. It shows something. doesn't it. this glove is top of the line and is worth the money. you wont have to buy another glove for years.

Rawlings PROSTB-50. I bought this glove after my other one was stolen. I had the same type and know it will be fantastic. To break it in I bought a hammer handle, a 3 inch 5-16 screw and a cheap ball. I screwed the ball to he hammer handle and then used lanoling oil on the palm. Then I just pounded the glove for about a week with my (Ball Hammer) and it was pretty much ready to go.

I bought the pro preferred glove about a year and a half ago, and it still hasn't broken in. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work. The glove has good leather, but there is way too much padding especially around the thumb. I bought this glove thinking it would last me all of high school, but it is going to end up collecting dust instead. I would not recommend anybody buy this glove, I would prefer a Nokona.

The Rawlings Pro-Preferred Series is the Top-of-the-line glove. It can not be surpassed. When I got my glove, it took a very little amount of time to break in, and is very durable. Also, you don't have the balls that hit your glove and fall out. The ball just seems to stick to the quality leather. I suggest if your serious about buying a top notch glove, this is the way to go.
