A good example of how Bush has transcended lying and entered the realm of what Harry G. Frankfurt calls "bullshit": a world of language in which neither he nor his listeners really cares whether his words are true or not. Phrases like "whatever that means" and "what you're seeing on your TV screens" give it away. I respect Nixon for stopping at nothing to try to deceive us. At least that implied that we cared about the truth.
