When I first started to watch Giada, I admit I was a bit suspicious. She looked as though a puff of air would blow her away and having a grandfather who is known movie producer, I went by two misconceptions, never trust a skinny chef and ridding along on someone elses coattails. Both are far from the truth. Miss De Laurentiis is a trained chef of the Paris Cordon Bleu as well has having spent time working in hot and tense and fast paced restaurant kitchens. I enjoy her fresh approach in the preparations of authentic Italian cuisine and her elegant charm that goes with it.
