Dewalt for the most part is pretty good stuff. However, that being said their number one advantage over any other power tool company is they have the highest advertising budget. They spend up to ten times amount of money on advertising than some of the other power tool companies out there. So yes, they are the most well publicizied. Are they the best tool? I wouldnt think so, but they do make some good quality items
