at one time (last year) Porter Cable was all made in the USA, but then Dewalt/Black & Decker bought them out....the US Plant got shut down and got out sourced to mexico and abroad. If you can find Porter Cable router that is still made in the States, buy it. Those are the best routers you can still find.

I only have their orbital sander but it has lasted 2 years so far.
