This has never happened to me but it sounds horrible. I can't even imagine what a nightmare it would be to lose such an extension of yourself... I am sorry if you have been through this.

My daughter just recently lost identical twin boys. A horrible, devastating, life changing experience.

I'm completely lost here... Do you people not realize that a twin and a sibling are the same thing? As of 3/16/06, you've rated siblings death the #2 most hurtful, but twins is down here at #14. How is that possible. On another note, those same people must not realize the bond between twins. They weren't even apart in the womb, what makes you think they wouldn't be utterly devastated by this?

this i'm sure would be devastating because their is such a bond between twins. my twin nieces always know when the other one is hurt or upset so to have one die would be like dying themselves.
