03/15/2006 | Depends on the disease. I have Crohn's, as does just about every other person in my family (it even killed my great-great grandmother). Because of what doctors know now, this (and many other things) are easily treatable and able to manage.
Cancer, on the other hand, even if it were caught early and I had a GREAT chance of recovery, I'd be scared. That's just SO much bigger in comparison to a lot of other things. Unfortunately, I run the risk of just about every type of cancer, aside those that only afflict men.
