03/15/2006 | it depends on the "kid" if they are a total screw up and no matter what we have done they show no signs of every growing up and think we are free ride forever. if they are extremely unpleasant or violent.It could be terribly upsetting. so far we have been lucky. it is possible our son may have to stay with us into adulthood but we will have to take that one day at a time. we are pretty lucky that both of our kids are good. it can imagine how upsetting it could be if you have an adult "kid" who will give nothing but heartache and problems.

03/15/2006 | I know many people with "boomerang" children, i.e. olders kids who move back in. Usually some disaster has caused the move and the tension between parent and child really boils over.
