Shooting complete strangers and being shot at by complete strangers? Yeah, I'd imagine this would screw with your emotions pretty badly. If it doesn't, then you probably have some other serious issues to deal with.

Can't speak based upon experience, but I would have to say that I would rather find myself in combat then have my wife cheat on me, lose a child, get incarcerated, etc. I am sure that combat takes a toll on a person's emotions, but I would atleast like to have my emotions screwed with while doing something honorable, rather than just having bad stuff happen.
