I'm convinced that Sid & Marty Krofft were major acidheads...I mean, how can you come up with shows like HR Pufnstuf where a little British kid plays a flute that takes him to an island where a dragon (that looks nothing like a dragon) with a head the size of Mars and a Southern accent is a mayor, you get chased around by a witch, and trees talk? How can you not do acid and come up with shows where the villains are Rip Taylor and Charles Nelson Reilly? And what about "Land of the Lost?" in which a dad with one of those 1974 white afros takes his two kids on a canoe trip, they go over a waterfall, and land in a place where sinister pointy headed reptiles try to get them, they hang around with apes and fool around with magic crystals,, and escape dinosaurs every time. In this particular half hour Krofft bad trip, Jody from that show with Mr. French comes out and sings a Beach Boys type tune and then hangs around with some monsters made out of green crap and seaweed and the Witch from the Wizard of Oz, Margaret Hamilton also is on the show... I never did acid, is this what it is really like. I have to give this nonsense, a relic from when I was in kindergarten or something, 3 stars for the sheer weirdness and ridiculousness of the show...

It was one of the line ups that you would just have to watch when it came on.
