They should kill everyone involved in this production who's still alive. If they're dead, dig them up and kill them again. I'd shit all over this show, but I found someone who's done all the leg work for me. And I quote:"Timed with the film’s release this weekend, the Sci-Fi Channel has been airing episodes of the original Land of the Lost television series (1974-1976). It’s actually a brilliant tactic—remind people of how inconceivably horrible the TV show was in order to make Will Ferrell’s new movie version look like Jurassic Park by comparison. Prior to this week’s reruns, I’d only seen bits and pieces of the old show, so the degrees of awful it achieved were lost on me. After watching a shitload of entire episodes (the show is like a Youtube video of a chihuahua humping a stuffed animal….you know it’s bad, but you can’t look away), I can say without a twitch of the face that Land of the Lost is one of cheapest-looking, poorly-acted, laughable TV programs that I’ve ever seen. And I kinda love it for those exact characteristics.Which is exactly why you need to watch some clips, after the jump. To see for yourselves. Have some hearty chuckles. Wonder why the lead actor only has one name….”Wesley.” Whatever floats your ship:"Check out the clipshttp://tinyurl.com/suckssobadyoullbeatyourmother

It was one of my favorites back then. Land of the Lost was perhaps the most successful of all the Krofft morning shows as well as the most ambitious. It ran longer than any other in terms of number of first-run episodes and employed a philosophy that kids could enjoy learning as well as understand moral lessons in their Saturday morning TV.
