This show was all about Sid & Marty Krofft's habit of smoking freebase cocaine.  H.R. Puffin Stuff?  You know, H.R. like a Home Run?  In baseball?  Like a base hit?

To say nothing of the fact that it was a Magic Flute who talked to Timmy -- "Let's go playyyy" -- only Timmy could hear the voice of the flute aka the crack pipe.
But hey, the kids didn't notice!

Although I didn't grow up with that show (I'm a child of the late 80's) I can see why it appealed to children of that time, but I find it immensely corny!

HR Pufnstuf was a enchanting & a fantastic original visionary TV show! It inspired hope, happieness & dreams of those who watched it. Anything on TV today not only pales in comparrision but also lacks in inocent & pure vision, the kids of today are sorely impoverished by the current TV waste land. HR Pufnstuf
