 | VirileVagabond (37) 08/16/2007 | Not a bad show, but I'm rounding down since I could never consistently get into "The Jeffersons". This series (another spin-off from "All In The Family") was obviously a reversal of "Good Times", as it portrayed a nouveau riche African-American family. One of the problems I had was the persistent stereotyping, and the producers missed an opportunity to be more groundbreaking in my opinion. I will say that Paul Benedict as the English neighbor Harry Bentley provided a different comedic spin for the show, but Marla Gibbs (as Florence) was relied on too heavily in the latter years of the series. Of course, it goes without saying that "The Jeffersons" did have one of the greatest theme songs.

 | X Factor Z (15) 10/14/2006 | They reran this show so much in San Antonio after the news that even the newscrew made wisecracks about it. Now TV Land, the most prolific broadcaster of the mundane and overshown TV programs, is now showing it yet again.
Great show though, but overseen.
